[8ARMY] 8th Army

8th Army was the British army which fought against Rommel in North Africa until it was joined by Allied forces which landed in the west in Operation Torch. After the defeat of the Germans in Tunisia, 8th Army participated in the invasions of Sicily and mainland Italy and fought its way up through the rugged countryside of Italy until German forces there surrendered on May 2, 1945.
